If a claim was submitted with incorrect information — such as a wrong diagnosis code, incorrect patient details, or a billing error — you can submit a corrected claim through the Quick Claim provider portal. This article covers when to submit a corrected claim, how to do it, and what to expect after submission.
Submit a corrected claim when:

Corrected claims are subject to the same timely filing deadlines as original claims — typically 12 months from the date of service, though this varies by payer. Check your payer contract or contact SDS Provider Support if you are unsure of the deadline for a specific payer.
If you are unable to locate the original claim, if the Submit Corrected Claim option is not available, or if your correction is related to an EDI-level rejection, contact SDS Provider Support through the Quick Claim portal chat or submit a support ticket.
